And yes MG sounds drunk almost all of the time.
Well - he was a Pitt HC, so probably he was following in the footsteps of Johnny Majors, who was famously drunk most of the time at Pitt and Tennessee. :)

Mike Gottfried has worked at least 3 USC games, so we've discussed him a lot. He sounds the same way every single game. At the BYU game he was chiding us for taking the names off our jerseys.

We used to call him Drunk Gottfried or Mike the Drunk, but someone told us he suffered a stroke a few years ago.

Not really sure why ESPN puts him out there.

Thomps I was thinking the same thing I KEPT THINKING WHEN GODFRIED WAS TALKING...Spit it out you sorry SOB!!!

If I were a UCLA recruit, Fan, Alumn, or player I would be embarrassed. This is the second year in a row they have lost to a MW team. Fresno St. last year and Wyoming this year...how embarrassing.
