There were whispers about the recruitment of Anthony Davis.

Was he the one that got an "A" in his mail order high school math II course before he actually took the math I course?

Or am I confusing my Calipari recruiting highlights?

meh, I didn't live there when they won in 98, so I'm not to familiar with that aspect. But thanks for the info. I appreciate it. *bro-hug*

You remember that UK won something in 1998 but act like you've never heard of a fan base burning couches after a win in a lifetime of following sports. :roll2:

That's only annoying in it's abject stupidity.

Your incredibly weak act continues to get weaker.

No bro hug, no smiley face, just dead serious go-fuck-yourself face.

Just curious as to what makes some of you believe this title will be vacated. I haven't heard anything negative about Calipari and this team.... but then I haven't been listening for anything about Wildcat b-ball either.
There wasn't much about him at UMass...until he left. Nor Memphis...until he left. This guy leaves a trail like a dog dragging its ass across carpet.

yet somehow HE always escapes unscathed. I would think the NCAA is all over him since he took over UK. You know there are a lot of coaches out there that probably try and get him busted too. Dude is like Mafia connected or something. It always falls on the players, like Camby and Rose, and never on him.

Shortly after fourth-seeded Louisville lost 69-61 to the top-seeded Wildcats in the Final Four on Saturday night, Pitino said he hopes coach John Calipari and the Wildcats ''bring it home for the state.''

I guess I found this funny considering not one starting player from Louisville or UK was from Kentucky. In fact I don't think there was a starter from below the mason-dixon line.
