Top 10 Week 5
1. USC
2. Oklahoma
3. Georgia
4. Miami
5. Texas
6. Ohio State
7. West Virginia
8. Tennessee
9. California
10. Auburn
SCHEDULES: THE NEXT THREE GAMES
USC: at Stanford, California, Arizona St.
Oklahoma: Texas Tech, Texas, Kansas State
Georgia: LSU, Tennessee, Vandy
Miami: at Houston, at Georgia Tech, Louisville
Texas: Baylor, Oklahoma, Missouri
OHIO STATE: bye, NW, Wiscy
West Virginia: James Madison, Virginia Tech, Connecticut
Tennessee: Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi
California: at Oregon State, at USC, UCLA
Auburn: The Citadel, at Tennessee, Louisiana Tech
DISCUSSION:
IN THE NEXT THREE GAMES FIVE TOP TEN TEAMS WILL LOSE
Because they play each other.
USC - will be favored in all of their games.
The Big Showdown is with CAL. CAL beat them at home last year.
This year is payback. However, the PAC-10 teams are always
capable of knocking each other off. Stanford could be over looked.
OKLAHOMA – will also be favored in all of their games. They have Texas Tech, which is dangerous if overlooked, followed by Texas. The good news here is that one of them gets knocked off. Then they follow up with Kansas State. They cannot afford a let down if they get there undefeated.
GEORGIA: LSU & TENESSEE … if things happen right for the Bucks,LSU knocks off Georgia, then Georgia knocks off Tennessee. Again, one of these top ten teams takes a loss.
MIAMI: three games that the Canes should win ….. don’t hold your breath for an upset…. The coast is clear for Miami for a while.
TEXAS: The big game is with Oklahoma ….. again … one goes down. Could Texas slip up with the others? Texas always slips up somewhere.
THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A week to heal, a good away opponent, and Wiscy at Home !!!!!!
As always, keep winning, and the rest will fall into place.
WEST VIRGINIA: a cupcake …. Followed by the team that will knock them off …. West Virginia goes down to Virginia Tech ….mark it down.
TENNESSEE: Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi, again someone in the Top Ten loses two of them … and if things fall right for the Bucks, they all knock each other off.
CALIFORNIA: the match up is CAL at USC … once more .. one has to lose … and it will probably be CAL.
AUBURN: matches up with Tennessee … and one of them loses.
IF THE BUCKS TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS AND PUT UP Ws …
We will be in the Top 4 and probably # 3. after the Wisconsin Game.
