It is clear to anyone who has visited this site with any regularity, that BP is a special place where Buckeye fans and their friends can have fun and conversation. We have some posters who really know Ohio State sports, and quite a few who are involved with the Buckeyes in one way or another on this site.
When I have met some of you in real life or exchanged PMs, it is clear to me that many people think of life as "before BP" and "after BP". I don't mean that any website has, or should have, life altering consequences on its visitors but rather that being here and being part of a community of Buckeye fans has been good for you and could even be said to have raised your quality of life. This is especially true for those of us who live our lives far removed from Ohio.
A month or so ago, I was looking to PM someone and I sorted the Member's List by rep because I couldn't remember the spelling of their name. I was shocked to see that Clarity had dropped lower than me.
He currently is about 18 or 19 on the list. To me, that is unacceptable.
This site is all of us, and we may all be figments of bkb's imagination in some other dimension, but BP is Clarity throughout. His selfless devotion to the site, refusal to cash in by selling it or charging a membership fee, and sacrifices as he fights his immune disorder are a lesson to many of us.
Clarity doesn't post as much as he once did because of his illness. He always did choose quality over quantity anyway when he posted.
If there is anyone on this site whose rep does not reflect the reputation he really has with us all, it is Clarity. Here is a link to a recent Clarity post. A recent Clarity post.
