Time to confess. How did YOU cost us the Illinois game?

1. I did not park in usual location.

2. I took a different radio to the game.

3. I am always in my seat before the band comes on the field. Saturday I stayed in the corridor watching the end of the Wisky game and did not get to my seat till 3:00 minutes till kickoff.

What did YOU do?

I wore an OSU sweatshirt that I haven't worn all season.

One of my neighbors (an LSU grad) showed up to watch the game with us. He hasn't watched a game with us since the NC game. He's not allowed to watch any more games with us!

I took the dog for a walk at halftime. Usually Manfred does it.

However, I'm blaming the loss on MD Buckeye, who attended this game. He's not allowed to go to any more games! :)

I was on vacation in Cabo. I watched the game in the airport and was wearing my jersey, but not the same shorts or shoes I normally wear...and I didn't have the jersey on until near the end of the second quarter.

All of that pales in comparison to the true cause of the loss, my dad. My dad went to the game. He NEVER goes to the game, it may even be the only time he's gone. It is a proven fact, the Hood's should never be in the stadium. Exhibit A: My first game at the Shoe was the 1998 Mich St. game.

I was in shock and immediately worried when I found out he was going to the game.

I didn't beat up the dumbass "fan" who spent the last quarter talking about how the team was an embarrassment and swearing in front of the families with kids. And I'm quite certain I could've kicked his rear. Time to pull out the Penn State shirt you burned a couple weeks ago and wear the charred remains, ya newbie bandwagon idiot.

This was intended as a light-hearted attempt to put the game behind us. However, I think we have discovered something sinister with Evan.

I trust your Dad and Daveeb kept their first-timer status to themselves. Otherwise they are lucky to have survived.

It has been a long standing tradition at the Shoe to chuck such first timers into the Olentangy from the top of C Deck. Granted, we have never gotten them that far (they usually land on the visiting team buses) but not for want of trying.
