Those guys were good at their job and eventually delivered (Fick had to get some help from Urbs to remove some dead weight).

This is Urban Meyer's offense. Not Herman's, and not Beck's. Urban liked him enough to hire him. If he was fucking up so badly, the switch to Warriner should have been made way sooner. The fact it wasn't is Urban's fault.
I don't pretend that I KNOW Beck isn't the issue. I just don't KNOW that he is.
Either way, I trust Urban to sort it out.

how do you not? for 11 games the offense was mostly a joke when you think about the talent we had vs the shitty teams we played. you'd think each week would be the wake up call, but it just got worse. for 2 games we kicked the shit out of teams that had supposedly good but not great defenses. there's something that is glaringly different about those 11 vs those 2.
I get that fans can be spoiled and stupid and fickle. acknowledging that Beck is not good enough is not spoiled, stupid, or fickle....it's just obvious.

I didn't hate him, but I did not think he did a good job as a head coach and I did not think he did a good job as a DC. My opinion was mostly based on 'on the field' performance' of the units he was responsible for. Also "We won didn't we" did not improve him in my opinion.
He's done much better as far as I can tell. Don't know how much of that is Ash and how much is Fick's improvement as a coach. Time will tell.

Because you just fucking KNEW Herman and Fick were the problems too.
Also, if it was sooooooo obvious to everyone, I'm far more pissed at Urban than Beck. If Beck sucks and it was so crystal clear, Urban let this team down. He could have put Warriner in the booth after the NIU game but didn't.

Urbs is human. He made a bad hire. He's made them before and he will likely make them again.
I just hope he fixes it soon because i am convinced its beck and not just because I'm too damn lazy to think for myself and just want to scapegoat someone

There are just too many variables involved for me to "know" who is to blame. There's a good possibility that the players themselves share the blame. I imagine it's much harder to listen to the new coach when the last guy helped you to win a title. Whether the players buy in or not can impact a team far more than any playcall.

I am willing to bet any amount of money Tim Beck is not calling the plays next year.
Ultimately the buck always stops with Urban. Urban rectified the situation and our offense was night and day. Urban waited too long unfortunately and it cost a Title shot. Beck sucked. It doesn't take Columbo or Matlock to figure that out.

I'm not saying Beck isn't the problem. Just so we're clear. I'm also not calling anyone out on here. Its just funny to me that, literally, the exact same shit was being said about Herman and Fick. For fucks sake, I think there were less than 10 people on HERE that were constantly defending Fick and asking "why does Withers not get any flack?", and now it's clear he was the problem, even to the people who didn't know his name when they were screaming for Fick's head on a pike.
