I'm almost 100% sure training challenges are to get you more xp. All the golfers are unlocked as soon as you start the game in quickplay.

I'm sorry about the hole in one thing. That stinks. I have yet to get a hole in one. I've come close, and of course hit one in one of the challenges but that doesn't count :lol:

And now that I've bumped up the difficulty to Tournament mode, I highly doubt I'll get one :(

I played four rounds in year one, but now I have 500,000 experience points that I have nothing to do with and I am basically just trying to unlock all of the sponsor levels, so I moved it down to one.

That would make them a huge waste of time then in my opinion. You only get 1000 XP for winning them plus some change for FIR and the like, and oftentimes they can take quite a bit of time to successfully complete.

Absolutely not worth it in my opinion if you don't get anything but XP from them.

Just picked this up early in the week, Best Buy finally had it on sale. I've loved all the other TW games, but this one is very different...fun, but different. I've only made it to Q School so far in the 2 days i've played, but right now putting is a nightmare! Please tell me it gets better the more experience points you put into Putting. Right now it is super sensitive, so if i'm just barely left or right on the joy-stick, my putt misses the cup right or left as well.

Besides putting, the game seems very well put together and actually seems like a challenge. Before you just breeze through tournaments with no competition and get birdie or eagle guaranteed on every hole. Hopefully it still stays challenging even when you max out everything. Anyone get any of the prototype EA gear? They look nuts for stats.
