So the release date for this game was Oct 10. I went to Best Buy and EB Games this past weekend to pick the game up for XBox 360. Both places told me that the game is not released till the 18th. You can buy the game online at both sites, but they don't have them in stores until 8 days after the game released.

Anyone ever heard of this before or why they would do this?

For some reason the 360 version was pushed to this week instead when every other console released it last week. No clue why, probably just going to rent this one but definitely buying Splinter Cell for the 360 this week!
