Yeah, that's the first that I've heard of anyone questioning Ginn's potential like that. I guess if you were going to do it, it would be due to lack of size?
It's actually more surprising to me that he would claim, in July, no chance of a top ten class for Michigan.

Obviously Tom Beaver isn't what eats. I think he'll change his tune when Ginn runs a couple kicks back for TDs against Michigan.

Not sure where all that information comes from but only about half of it is information I've ever seen.
I've never seen Tom say Ted Ginn was an overrated player that is a trackstar and not a football player. I've actually seen him compare players to Ginn which is obviously a form of compliment.
Tom wouldn't say there's no way we'd have a Top 10 class because we lost Schoenhoft. We're in on a ton of other Top 100 players and it's way too early to say that.
I'd say the scholarship numbers were pretty close to accurate.
Tim Jamison is still borderline for qualifying which is why he MIGHT not play for Michigan this season. There's still been no official word as of yet so to say he won't play for Michigan is a bit of a stretch still for now.
I'm not sure what thread you saw that on but I think most of it was said by someone trying to jerk some OSU fan's chains because half of that I've never seen before.

Brad Smith had verbaled to the University of Toledo. When Gary P. left Toledo for Mizzou Brad Smith went with him. Maybe OSU was going to offer him, but I doubt it since he didn't really have any big time offers.

The kids from OSU represented big time!
Everyone knows what Ted Ginn could do, but I was very impressed with Lyons...we definetly stole one from PA, the kid is a stud and boy I cant wait to see him catching passes in the shoe.

What a freakin homer/idiot. Ginn was never going to scUM at all, so he writes this crap. I don't see how anyone who has watched the All Star games can question Ginn's ability-even if all he did was return kicks. Still, it's nice to hear the scUM guy say Michigan's class will be a down one this year....... I haven't seen the scUMers pop up as much in interest comments from recruits this year as much as last.
