i was surfing ebay (yes i'm bored at work) and saw that TOSU vs texas tickets are already selling for 500+ for C deck and 1k-1500 for B. this brings the question to mind what price would it take to separate you from your TOSU vs Texas or Michigan (home game)?

I have never been lucky enough to get tickets to TOSU vs Meshitagain so i wouldn't even fathom selling them, but just curious for those of you that get them.

i usually get to make it one game per year by falling into tickets for the "scrub" games. I got tickets to the Kent game a few years ago, and San Diego State, but I've never got the good games. i need to get a real job where i make some money and can afford to get tickets to one good game.

i get all my tickets on eBay (except for my dad's alumni tickets.) I go to Penn State every year regardless of location, I go to one of the early games through the alumni tickets, lately I've gone to 1 or 2 more.

I actually had the idea of posting on here all the OSU tickets on eBay and updating it every day....although I haven't figured out what format I want to do it in.

Man You are better of just going down to the games and scalping. If you just have to pay for yourself you can get good games for 100-150.

And if your lucky enough you can get somebody selling them for face value.

I got two tickets to the Iowa game in 03 when the teams were both ranked in the top ten, for 50 a piece. Man was I estatic considering the guy right b4 he came up to me told me 350 apiece.

I saw a pair in c26 that were going for 830 with 22 hours left (for Texas). At that much, I may sell mine and get the rest of the season for free. I would not sell the scUM game. I can be satisfied watching the Texas game on the tube if it means that all of my other games are free.

I'm coming to columbus on september 10th if i get tickets or not. I'll try to buy some from scalpers.....or ill just watch in the alumni house (or at a tailgate with a TV if we find one).

its still gonna be an awesome time.

Yeah, student tickets are nice, but I dunno what I'll do in two years. Hmmm, all the more reason to go to OSU's med school...

hangonsloopy.com had the pre-conference games available to students at the same time season tickets were. Maybe they might be putting all current students in the South stands for (at least) the Texas game.

scalping will probably be the better route for your games, but eBay prices will start to go down once people get tickets in hand. I got two tickets to the Rose Bowl (Texas-Michigan), 20th row shipped for $60.

I'm not familiar with the getting tickets for tOSU obviously, but I'd suggest keeping an eye on eBay for steals even if you plan to look for scalpers in the end. You never know. Look for auctions that end in the middle of the night, that is where I got my Rose tickets. Auctions get the most action during the last couple hours (because they rise to the top of the list), so auctions that end in the middle of the night get much less competition since everyone is asleep.

here is a web site for an online ticket broker that I use for my Buckeye tickets. I can only make it to one or two games a year and I almost always buy from this site...Right now you can get two tickets in the endzone for the Texas game for 550...not one...TWO.

I am not associated with this site at all...I am only passing along information to those who are in my shoes...can't get season tickets or freebies so you have to pay for 'em...

Good luck and I hope this helps.

its been said on this thread but just to reitterate (sp?) if you are patient with ebay you can find some deals. I paid 650 for my rose bowl ticket and almost shot myself when I saw them going for a tenth of that price a couple of days before the game. Really annoying.
