Ticket Price Discussion

Hey Mike, if your willing to pay that much.........I'd wait until the game get's a little closer. Regardless of their ranking, you'll be able to score 2 for that kind of dough.........I guarantee.
you guarantee that one could find two tickets for $600 a couple weeks prior to the ohio state/scum game? i reeeeeally hope that's the case; however i don't think that i'm wrong for expecting to spend a bit more, especially if ohio state is in contention for the national championship or other bcs game.

$600 for two tickets would seem like a steal. i hope i'm wrong.

How much do Tix sell for on the street?

It depends on the game / opponent, the weather, OSU's record to that point (of the particular game), where the seats are you're attempting to purchase, availability of tix (are the students back in school?, is there a 'special event' like homecoming, alumni band day, senior day, etc.?).

Lots of different factors...but we've bought tickets at below face value, and we've sold tickets @ 5 x face value (and I'm sure tickets have been bought by those with the means for even well above that... 10 x, 20 x, ect.)

I'm talking for OSU-Michigan. I've never been to a game and me and my buddy are trying to find someone to hook us up...but if we can't do that we might just come down and try to buy our way in to the game. 6x face value is 300 bucks right?

6 x face value is closer to $350 - $360.

But you still have most of those factors I mentioned to consider what your costs will actually be (minus the opponent = Michigan). What's our record going to be at that point? What does the game "translate" into...i.e., shot at a National Title, BCS Bowl, Big Ten Championship? Still weather (but to a lesser degree), and obviously where do you want to sit? (anywhere you can say "I was in the stadium", or somewhere you can say "I had some great seats for the game of the year!", etc.)

I'm guessing that under most 'normal' (not trying to characterize The Game as 'typical', 'average', etc. by any means) circumstances, if you're willing to pay $300 plus $ per ticket then you'll likely at least e able to buy a coupleof seats in the South stands or high in C Deck in the North endzone. But if the Bucks are undefeated (or at least still in contetion to make a BCS Bowl with 1 loss or such) and playing for a Big Ten Title / Natonal Championship and the like, then that may not even be enough.

Lots of 'what ifs' are going to have a huge impact on the street cost of these tix.
