i guess its always possible, i wouldnt make it a selling point though. good luck man, im trying to get rid of one myself thats not as good as a seat.. selling a single ticket makes it a little bit harder

It is also made harder when you are asking for at least $650 as you did in your thread. Especially considering the fact that student tickets only cost $29, asking for $650 is ridiculous IMO. Ask for $329--I'm sure you'd find a buyer at that price, and you'd still be making $300. Quit being so greedy.

Look, if I were on campus, had a ticket and this game was coming up, I would have to have it torn from my hands. That said, if he wants to sell it, at least he is pitching it back to Buckeye fans, and not some brave M&B clad rich uncle on e-bay. As for the business of "student tickets are only $29" he made quite clear that he had upgraded the seat. That makes Face = $59.

Finally, the market will decide the value of that ticket above Face. Trying to guilt him into a low ball offer isn't going to work - not when the market is telling him this thing is worth north of $400 - easily.

I think he is nuts for selling the ticket, but I cannot hold that he is being greedy when holding out for the best price.

I didnt buy it as a student ticket dickhead.. im not a student

the way i priced it was by looking at ebay and stub hun and determining that tickets in 11c and 12c were going for anywhere 650-850 so i went with the low end. im not sure how to price tickets, especially for a game like this. but thanks for being an asshole.

Please enlighten me on why my post indicated that I'm living in a fantasy world.
Find someone offering a ticket anywhere near $300 before calling him out. I think the prices are absurd, but he didn't set the bar.

Quite a response. It clearly shows your maturity and intelligence levels.

You're right, you weren't bashing him for being greedy or anything... :roll2:

Per ticket brokers, it costs $825 to get in the stadium. Apparently this is the biggest regular season game in history, college or pro.

Still waiting your answer for anywhere/anyone with a $300 ticket.

Yeah, b/c ticket brokers never jack the price up, particularly when they still have 3 weeks to sell the tickets. So since they're listing tickets at $825/ticket, that must be the current market rate. :roll1: To answer your question, tickets were sold on ebay in the past two days for $375 and $390. That's much, much closer to $329 than it is to $650, and I think it qualifies as "anywhere near" $329. And ebay is a much better indicator of what the market will bear than what some ticket broker is posting on a website IMO.
