Would my dad be better served buying 2 tickets to the Michigan game right now at $500 a piece or waiting until gameday and buying 2 scalped tickets?

Basically, can we get 2 scalped tickets at $500 or will the demad be through the roof and possibly more than $500.

Also, if student tickets were bought do you need an ID?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Student tickets will need a student ID.

I've heard that if you wait till kickoff or even after kickoff you will get a better deal on Mich tix, but there has never been a #1 vs #2 OSU Mich game. I might suggest waiting because one team could blow it and lose, which would drop the price.

But what do I know, I already have tix

The way that I see it, the tickets aren't going to go up much higher than $500 for a ticket. There is a pretty decent chance (at least historically speaking) that one team will lose, and the value will drop. I'm going to wait, because presently the tickets are nuts for this game. The hype has attached itself to this game, and so the ticket prices have escalated. Remember this, the Penn St. tickets last summer were going for about $200 a pop. A loss later, they were going for about $80-95 on the day of the game. This is obviously different for the Michigan game, but I can't imagine that the tickets are going to get any higer in price. It always seems that hype leads to higher prices a month or two out, but for some reason as the game gets a day or two away, you see a sudden drop in prices. '

You guys could be like me and pray for a snowstorm the day of, that way some of the people who are bringing kids..ect will decide to keep them home, opening up extra tickets, and sticking the scalpers the day of. I'll take that or a rainstorm :) It sucks having to wish for that, but then again......it really sucks having to pony up $500 for a ticket in a stadium that holds over 105,000 people.
