Correct.

1950 - Preseason #11, dropped out of top-20, reached #1, finished #14.

1954 - Preseason #20, dropped out of top 20, finished #1.

1962 - Preaseason #1, dropped out of top 10 (only 10 ranked that year), finished unranked.

1979 - Preseason unranked (20 teams), made it to #1 before the bowl, finished #4.
