A man took off from police, leading them on a chase which ended in a fiery crash.
The crash happened around 11:30 Wednesday night in North Fairmount.
Cincinnati Police have taken over the investigation, which involved Hamilton County officers trying to make a traffic stop.
The driver of a Chevrolet Suburban led the chase from Over-the-Rhine and over the Western Hills Viaduct, where the county officers lost site of the SUV.

A truck driver survived a fiery accident early Wednesday morning on U.S. 64 in Nash County, and authorities said it could have been avoided.
Marcel Hernandez, 36, of Southern Pines told investigators that he was reaching for a CB radio when his tractor-trailer veered off the highway, struck a guardrail and slammed into a bridge at the N.C. 58 exit at Nashville.

An out-of-state driver has been charged for his part in a chain reaction crash that happened last Friday.
The crash happened on I-77, about two miles north of Poplar Camp in Whythe Co.. An SUV was stopped due to a traffic backup near the Fort Chiswell exit on I-81/77 when a car hauler smashed into it.
