Thunder vs Lakers second round

He's as close as we're going to see. Totally different attitude with him relative to other NBA superstars. Most give me the vibe that the NBA is an event. Kobe treats it as a competition. I'm a Kobe (the player) fan, not so much off the court. I respect his game and attitude towards it.. it's closer to MJ than any other player in the game right now.
Kevin Durant seems to be following in his foot-steps.

I hate Kobe. Can't stand the dude. But I have so much respect for him and his attitude towards the game.

Durant has a lot to prove before he can be mentioned in the same sentence. But yeah, he's the best comparison.. still, not on the same level imo.

Wow. Officials really did a masterful job down the stretch.

6 free throws on off-ball fouls gave the Lakers the game down the stretch. If you have an acute awareness of how games are called in the NBA, this game just didn't pass the smell test. Really obvious if you understand how officials can manipulate a game without being overtly obvious.

They got LA to the bonus early and made sure they got free throws down the stretch to hand the game over. It was bad. Really bad.

Disappointing as an NBA fan that this would be happen in such an obvious manner. It'd take an idiot not to understand the dynamics at work.

I was thinking the same thing...

Just got done watching Scott Brooks PC and he really handled it well. I give him a lot of credit b/c he knows exactly what just happened.

That being said, he didn't blame officials at all and actually said his team "used their hands too much".

Good for him. He won't piss anyone off in front of the cameras.

I can't imagine how that call is going to sound tonight as he rings up Stern's office. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TONE.

I have some experience in how this works at a NCAA level. I'd imagine it works similarly at a professional level. Pretty face in front of the media, not so much with the appropriate people.

 42 to 28 free throw attempt discrepancy. What a fucking joke.

And both teams were making them. At one point in that game last night, the Lakers were 28 for 28, and OKC was 21 for 22. That's a combined 98%.

My hate for kobe goes back to the screw job the Lakers pulled over the Kings in 2002.

Kings fan in '02, Heat fan in 2011/12.

Can we get a Vbet going which team fanboy runs to when he gives up on the LeBitch winning 9 titles dream?

I'm thinking by then Durant is his favorite player EVAH!
