Hating the environment since 1994
  • 1) Why do people cut their salad with a knife before eating?

    2) How do you get rid of that inevitable wintertime scab inside your
    nostrils?

    I have a whole-home humidifier but still get them.

    3) Why do people still have Garmin's when most smartphones can perform the same function?

    More to the point, people cut their salad because people like feeling the power of a butter knife in their hands. It is, as you know, breath taking.

    As for the scab.. ya pick it.. and sometimes you consider eating it. This usually happens at a traffic light.

    People still have Garmins because .... umm.... they're "quaint"

    A Cup of Tea

    [FONT=verdana,arial,helvetica]
    Nan-in, a Japanese master during the Meiji era (1868-1912), received a university professor who came to inquire about Zen.
    Nan-in served tea. He poured his visitor's cup full, and then kept on pouring.
    The professor watched the overflow until he no longer could restrain himself. "It is overfull. No more will go in!" "Like this cup," Nan-in said, "you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup?"
