This Was Bad! My Friend's Brother & Nephew!

I went to see my friend that is a nurse, that was in recovery with me after my ankle surgery show her quarter horse. Well as soon as I got there I had somebody run up to me & ask "did you hear what happened to Lory"?
Well this is what happened! Her brother & nephew were riding their motorcycle to S.Carolina & were going to stop at a friends house on the way in Beckley,W.V. & they were about 2 miles from their destination. A car pulled out in front of them & t-boned them. The police told Lory's family they never stood a chance. They got family phone numbers from Michael's cell phone that the police found.
She told me they both had helmets & even goggles on. Her mom was freaked since she had to drive to New Castle to get her horse although people were willing to drive her truck & trailer home & horse back to the trainer,she opted to get out of the house for a break to clear her mind somewhat & get her horse back herself.
She seemed okay for the moment,I'm sure everything is surreal to her now.
I had not seen John or Michael in a few years being he lives near Toledo,Ohio. Michael was around 9 or so last time I had seen him.
Lory said they will be laid out together. I am really not looking forward to this at all,but as a friend I must & will be there!:(

The title was supposed to be brother & nephew! My mind is not all there right now,sorry.

Very sad. My condolences to you & your friend and her family

Just another reason why I don't think I will buy a bike and start riding anymore. Other drivers just don't seem to care enough to look.

That's going to be rough, em. I, unfortunately, lost a friend in a car wreck at 25. I can still see her lying there and it doesn't seem real, but she's been gone for years now. :(

Peace to you and the victims' families. May the departed RIP.
