We had at least five huge dogs in my neighborhood, and once my first cat had chased them out of our yard once, they were in fear of her for life. Pretty funny to watch a great dane being walked head to the far side of the street on seeing a little kitty sitting in her favorite flowerpot. When I was home sick on a day when contractors were working on the basement, she positioned herself where she could see me and the door to the stairs, and growled every time they walked nearby. Guard cats ftw.Crump's brother;1997146; said:Cats don't scare Jehovah's witnesses out of my yard. My attack Spaniel does.
It's been years since a JW has knocked on my door. Years ago they used to practically invite themselves inside but nowadays if you invite them in they'll run off because they're afraid you're going to murder them.Crump's brother;1997146; said:Cats don't scare Jehovah's witnesses out of my yard. Speaking of kittens...this is the last one I got suckered into raising:

I finally figured out that telling them I was Catholic (I wasn't actually but I went to a Catholic school) had them practically falling off the porch to get away.
After that they started coming less & less. Woot for the baby eating papists!
