The females get pretty big, according to these pics. They are also the ones that have that distinctive coloring. The flowers in this pic have pretty big clusters of flowers so the spider is a goooood size. Nice shot of the "zig zag" too.

I have a picture of one from our garden like this. I'll try to find it. I don't why people get freaked out over spiders. Maggots are creepier IMO.
