Things to do in Elyria/North Olmsted?

Wanna make $14 the hard way?
Hey all. I'm going to be spending next week in beautiful Elyria, OH for training. We get done at 4:30 in the afternoon, so I'll have the entire evening to kill. Since the All Star game is next week, the Indians are obviously not playing, so....I'm looking for good ways to spend my time, other than sitting at the hotel bar, that is. I am planning on taking a cab down to the flats one or two nights and I've already done the R&R HOF.

Anyone have any good suggestions?

I grew up in North Ridgeville... in between those two... moved away 10 years and haven't been back for a visit in over 3... I'm betting there is stil nothing to do. If you're there in the second week of August you can go to the Legendary Corn Festival

There's a BW3 in Elyria. Near the mall. I don't think I'm going to be much help, since I can't remember exactly where it is. I can get there, but I never did know the names of the roads. Except I know there is/was a Toys R Us nearby. And the Toys R Us is visible from the road. Go to Toys R Us and then look around. You should see it.

If that doesn't work, or it isn't there anymore, I think you're S.O.L.

I just moved to Avon Lake and I will have to concur, there is absolutely nothing to do in Elyria unless you want to pick up some trailer trash. :pimp:

Your plan to hit the flats is old, better to go to the Warehouse district, that is where all the action is now as the flats are dead. If you want you can hit Lakewood as that is a good scene as long as you stay out of the gay bars. Well, unless you are into that kinda thing. Not like there is anything wrong with that or anything.

There's a Quaker Steak now, somewhere. It's right off I-90. Thats all I remember. If you go east a little bit, there's a Dave and Buster's. There's golf courses all over Lorain County, too. Bring your clubs.

Oh yeah, the Dave & Busters in Westlake (Columbia Rd exit off I-90). Adult version of Chucky Cheese if you are into video games and such. Bar wise that might be the best thing to hit up as you get to see some nice MILFs there.

Stay away from the Quaker Steak unless you are into Nascar and rednecks. Not the best of locations though.

But let us know what you want kind of entertainment you are looking for. Of course if you are looking for more adult entertainment you will have to go to downtown Cleveland for the good strip clubs. Unless you are into the more skanky strip clubs. Then you can go to the strip clubs near the airport and if you like big women like SIMV then there are some bad stip clubs in the Elyria/Lorain area if you are really really desperate.

Thanks for all your tips guys.

As a 33 year old married guy, the flats/warehouse district/party scene isn't a huge priority to me; niether is going to strip clubs (regardless of whether they are nice or skanky).

I might bring my clubs and try to get a few rounds in; or just hang out at a few local bars.

Oh man is this trip gonna suck or what?

Oh, Ironbuki - thanks for sharing!
