The couple of times I have been to Aldi, it was for 2-3 items and I didn't get a cart. I can't say that I'd know how to work the carts. Now I'm afraid someone will make fun of me on TikTok or Facebook or whatever else you kids stream nowadays.

I'm not the brightest guy in the world and I figured it out in 2 seconds

They make me sad, for them. I had an acquaintance that was a card carrying member of American Atheists and once he invited me to one of their get togethers. Miserable and angry people who ironically were obsessed with God and people who believe in a God.

The vegans of religion.

When you're done with the cart, put it away. Put it away!!! Leaving it in the parking lot is not "away". You know that these are the same people who yell at their kids for not putting the jug of orange juice away after pouring some. How is this different, except that now they aren't the victims.

I'd be unprepared because I never have quarters on me. My Giant Eagle still has free-roaming carts and plastic bags. They love those plastic bags. You can buy a dozen items and end up with 8 of them. They have the reusable bags but they want you to buy them while the unlimited plastic bags are free. We've got a sort of upside down environmentalism movement going on in NE Ohio.

What annoys me about that? Assholes who don't push their carts back to the station, just leaving them wherever and clogging up the lot.

My grocery store recently started forcing paper bags. But literally everything in the store is packed in plastic.
Sure glad we stopped using those bags.

Do they still have checks in the USA. They were discontinued here a couple of years ago.

Most countries have a national payment system.
In the US, we have the scam which is Visa and Mastercard.

Yes. Well, I know of the one guy who goes to parking lots and yells at people who don't put their carts away. His heart is in the right place. And his brain. And all the rest of his organs, I'm guessing. But it's a lot of the same. I can only watch a couple of those videos before I get bored.

No way is that real.
1. I refuse to believe that people are really that dumb.
2. Even if someone was that dumb, no way would he/she spend that much time trying to get it in the spot.
