Head Coach
It is almost ridiculous with how well the freshmen PG's are playing this year...
We all know what Conley brings to the table, and IMO is the best of the group, but the other guys are right there. Some of the others are...
DJ Augustin (Texas) - He has been the second option alongside Durant. Averaging 14.5 pts and 6.6 assts.
Ty Lawson (UNC) - He is on a very deep team, so doesnt have eye popping stats at 10 pts and 5.3 assts but he leads that team up and down the court with his speed.
Javaris Crittenton (Ga Tech) - Havent actually watched him play, but his numbers of 14.5 pts and 5.4 assts speak for themself.
Sherron Colling (Kansas) - He has became the leader of that young team and is really the reason they have elevated their team. Averaging 10 pts and 3 assts.
Scottie Reynolds (Nova) - Glad he didnt end up at Michigan and is having a solid season at 13 pts and 4 assts.
Willie Kemp (Memphis) - Another guy I havent been able to see but is averagaing 32 minutes a game and his numbers are 7pts and 3 assts, not great, but getting big minutes on a top 10 team in the country.
Edgar Sosa (Louisville) - He is just another one that is getting heavy minutes on a pretty good team and averaging 11 pts and 3 assts.
Armon Bassett (Indiana) - Everytime I watch Indiana he impresses me, as I always think that he wanted to be a buckeye last year, but we brought in conley. He is having a pretty solid season averaging 10 pts and 3 assts.
There is a list of 9 very solid PGs and the first 6 would start on just about any team in the country...They are all guys capable of big things, and the other 3 are guys that I saw glancing thru the scout recruiting rankings from last year...
I am sure there are a couple other solid ones I am missing, but the fact that there are this many playing the roles they are already is pretty amazing...
