I broke my nose when a ground ball took a bad hop in warm ups.osugrad21 said:No no no...that won't cut it. I posted my story to coax some war stories out of you. Get to typing...I wanna hear some gruesome injury stuff...
Luckily nothing too gruesome happened to me. On one play in a scrimmage my second year the DE got his head down on my bicep when he was bull rushing and popped my shoulder out of socket. At the same time the guard next to me got a stinger. When we watched the film it looked like a sniper had taken us both out. Pretty funny looking back on it. I just had my shoulder ripped out of the socket while going for a rebound in my rec league bball game last monday so I'm a little pissed at the doctor who "fixed" it.osugrad21 said:No no no...that won't cut it. The most gruesome thing I've ever seen on the football field while I was playing happened during the spring game before my senior year. We were running the ball and I fired out and was blocking my guy. I heard a scream come from the other side of the line so I thought somebody got hurt. After the play I look to see if everyone is ok. My RT is sitting on the ground with his leg going straight and his foot laying to the side. Kind of like the LB from "The Program". The trainers didn't know anything was wrong so I had to go over to the sideline and tell them the poor bastards leg was broken. When we watched the film the DE came around the outside and dove for the RB. The RB swung him around so that he landed right on the back of the RT's legs. You could see his foot flopping as he fell down.
My biggest fear was that I would get rolled up like that and lose a knee or a leg. I was pretty good at keeping an eye out for myself and try to get out of the way if I saw something coming. In a game against Purdue I saw a guy diving into my ankle out of the corner of my eye. I was able to get my foot off the ground just in time so when he hit it it just knocked me down. If I hadn't I would have lost an ankle for sure.
Ranges from only a trace to about 7%. Some species have very little lactose in milk, such as the bear and kangaroo. These must have some other osmole in order to maintain milk in osmotic balance with blood plasma as milk is being synthesized. These species often have another sugar (for example the kangaroo has a trisaccharide) as the major osmole.
I knew you had to be serching like a mofo to refute my comment about the kangaroos b/c we would have been all over you for it.AKAKBUCK said:Per some site I googled:
