So now they are #3 on the merit of beating exactly 2 teams who made it all the way to November highly ranked due to pre season hype and a bullshit schedule.

FSU is getting that ass waxed by freakin Clemson. This isn't a fluke either they have come close to losing vs BC, Wake and Maryland.

The only question I have left regarding FSU is who was more overrated, FSU or VT?

Fucking pre season rankings and human pollsters stubborn refusal to admit their mistakes are the biggest single problem that could EASILY be fixed and help crown a more legit champion within the framework of what currently exists in D1 football.

That's a bit strong Jax, but I can't really disagree. They do play better defense in the ACC than in the Big lEast, but that's why they're behind in the "We Can't Suck Enough Poll", right?

The biggest difference I see between the two conferences, is that there are sportswriters out there writing about how the ACC is the best conference in all of college football. Give me a flaming backwards flip!

Big East sucks the most, but the ACC is by FAR the most over-rated.

the fact is miami won those games. im getting a little tired of hearing "yeah but we lost to the #2 and #5 team in the country". who are we, notre dame?

Yeah, but how bout this, we play their schedule and they play ours and see who ends up where. We would be undefeated and they would probably have two loses, b/c they would lose to Texas and PSU would probably get them in Happy Valley. Hell they probably could of lose to Minny, MSU, Iowa, or Northwestern.

Yeah we lost, but that is the problem in college football. Texas Tech beat up on sisters of the poor and everyone thought they should be ranked in the top ten, well they lost to okie st. who is probably the worst team int he big XII. I don't think any team in the country could take our schedule and go undefeated and if they did they are one helluva a team. Not saying a team like USC couldnt beat Texas, but to have to come out everysingle week to play, it gets really hard after a while.

My comparison here is to scUM st. in bball, they play the likes of Duke, UK, etc. in non-conference enter the tourney as a 6 seed with 11 or 12 loses and they make the final four and the experts are like where the hell did they come from, well they werent playing division III oppents at the beginning of the year.

A win is a win. Just ask the 2002 team. Or how about you go back and watch the games against Cincinnati, Illinois, Purdue, Penn State, or Wisconsin in 2002.

I am not sure if this is directed at me or not, but it is just not fair to some teams who are tested about every week and someteams who are tested once a season.

I know alot of you will disagree with me, but if USC, Texas, and Bama were all undefeated at the end of the season, I would of put Bama against USC.

Yeah Texas played us and won all their games, but they werent tested besides us.

Bama would of went through one helluva a schedule b/c they still have AU and UGA left to play.

I love the early season games against the like of Texas, USC, Miami, and Va Tech, but when other teams are playing division II teams I just think we should be rewarded even know we lose.
