That article was funny. The movie is not (with the caveat that I've only ever watched five minutes before being obligated to change the channel). I'll have to admit though, I used to like watching Point Break just to rip on Keanu with my buds.

I've heard - don't know if it's true - that the USC film school has a class entitled "The Films of Keanu Reeves". Now that's funny! I hope it's true.

Why would some moron write such a long article about a
movie he didn't like? To prove how intelligent he thinks he is? For not liking it, he sure didn't miss a single scene.

I enjoyed the movie, because I watched it for what it was. A kick back, relax, have a few laughs, comedy.

Wasn't Shane Falco supposedly an ex-Buckeye QB? I don't remember if they explicitly say it, but the Sugar Bowl disaster reminded me of the pounding that we took at the hands of the Criminoles.

Yes he was. So was Keanu's character in "Point Break". By the way, "The Replacements" was absolutely terrible. The article, on the other hand, is hilarious!! Bill Simmons is probably my favorite writer. For anyone who is not familiar with his stuff, here's a link to his archive:
