Since I'm the "stereoguy" around here, I've been copying various albums, including PF to black CD-Rs. I use Nero and burn at the slowest speed possible, 4x. I get excellent results.
Though I miss my PF vinyl! :( That's where DSOTM sounded best!
Buy yourself some archival or black CD-Rs and try it!

My roomate freshman year and I udes to listen to Floyd hen sleeping.
One night he wakes up in the middle of the night hearing a song he doesn't know.
He lied there debating whether or not to get up and find out which on it was on him computer.
The minute he sits up an organ blares and he flips out and buries his head under the pillow.
The middle of Sysyphus pt 4 blindsided him
A true Floyd fan knows what I'm talking about here.
