The Pink Floyd Trivia Game

For what reason did Radio London ban play of Pink Floyd's 1st UK Single on EMI records?

EDIT - There may be a break in transmission till I get home, I hope someone gets this so I can pass on the baton.

I don't know, but was it Interstellar Overdrive or Astronomy Domine? Or neither for that matter?

The first single on EMI was "Arnold Layne"

ironic background - Radio London was considered at the time to be freer "pirate Radio" - where all would tune-in to avoid the music censorship prevalent at the BBC and hear the latest underground hits.

OK -well I think this thing needs to go onto another question.

Answer to Arnold Layne Question

Arnold's strange hobby was collecting womens clothes - from washing lines.

The theme of a clothes filching tranvestite was too much even for the trend setting Radio London to allow on their airwaves.

New Question -- Asked because someone I knew was convinced that "The wall" was the first time Floyd had ever made music for a film ...

Truth and the Question - - Pink Floyd was commissioned to make soundtrack music for 3 full length feature films well before the Wall was released. All three "scores" were released on albums. This question concerns just one of those releases.

Easy Part - What was the name of the film, the score to which was released under the title Obscured By Clouds?
