Having lived behind enemy lines myself, the only thing I miss is waking up after a party and having enough empties laying around to afford a decent breakfast...

I did pretty well at an Indian casino once, but I don't remember where.
I enjoyed taking the downtown Detroit monorail to Greek Town for
some fantastic dining.
I kinda miss reading about the rioting after a Pistons win.
