Trying to switch my mind into basketball mode with The Game looming I looked at Florida a little bit. First thing I see is they play really good defense and have a knack for locking down the other teams leading scorer which is tough for these Buckeyes.
They have no scorers in the Top 100 and as a team they score 76.5 and allow 55.5 per game. They dont have any shooters that are launching enough 3's to be in the Top 100 nor making them at a super high percentage. They like to rebound and transition and they'll get in the paint as often as possible and try to get to the line.
The Bucks have EJ Liddell at 10th in points per game in 22+ and Wheeler is Top 100 in 3pt percentage so we have challenges for them. The key is going to be slowing down their transition and getting contributing players on the stats sheet. Need big games from Meechie, Jamari and Zed along with Kyle Young wreakig havoc on the boards. They'll double EJ likely when they can and someone will be wearing Ahrens. Typical strategy most likely.
