The Ohio State vs. #1 Dook, B1G/ACC Challenge, Nov. 30th, 9:30 ET, ESPN

Just got a chance to watch last night's game. I managed to avoid hearing who won until now, so it was tense at times. I also have not read any of this thread. I'm trying to decide if I want to go back and read this thread to laugh at the 2-3 guys who made asses of themselves with their negative comments beginning before tipoff (because that's what they do). Great win for the Bucks, although I could have done without the announcers referencing this easing the pain from last Saturday. They are obviously clueless. Nothing will ease that pain. But it was great watching the guys never quit, just kept on battling.
FIRE HOLTMANN!!

I also just finished watching this game, and was able to watch it without knowing the result.

What a fucking treat to see the Buckeyes battle back from a 13-point halftime deficit to beat #1 Dook! My wife went to the store when they were down about 8, if see hurries back she can catch me savoring my middle of the day celebration beer.

Whoever those refs were, I’ll take them for any future tOSU games. There are always a few debatable foul calls, but those seemed to go both ways. I was a little surprised that the reviewed elbow didn’t draw a flagrant, but I wasn’t bitching about the refs at all as I watched the game. The turnovers and FT shooting were driving me nuts, however. I’ve read the whole thread, and those seemed to be the general themes.

Awesome game for Zed and for Cedric Russell. Was Joey Brunk starting previous games for any reason other than trying to win the tip?

Checking the stats, it looks like the Buckeyes made 8 of their last 9 FTs (went from 3 of 13 to 11 of 22). They also only ended up with 12 turnovers, so they had 3 or fewer in the second half. Cleaning both of those things up, and playing solid defense, allowed the team to capture an epic comeback win.

I also loved seeing Archie Griffin and Jerry Lucas sitting together in primo seats.

A talking head on ESPN just said the win was meh for Ohio State (said it wasn’t really consequential), but that it was a big positive for Duke. What..? Losing good, winning bad. Got it.

Fucking idiots. That doesn’t even make sense.

EDIT: Also - props to the basketball team for fighting like hell to get back in the second half. I watched every minute. Incredible!

You do realize, "A talking head on ESPN," and, "Fucking idiots," is redundant, don't you? And, "That doesn't even make sense," could be used to describe a great deal about what they say. Definitely not out of the ordinary for them. They don't get paid to make sense. They get paid to spew the company's line and make money for ESPiN.

I’m aware. But I call out shitty journalism and officiating. It’s what I do. Haha

The Hulu app on both my Apple TVs (I have two - two different generations) would do the same thing. Spontaneously buffer, restart from the beginning of a broadcast, or just die completely and not reload. And it doesn't happen with Hulu's library of movies or TV shows, it is the live TV stream only. Hulu's programming teams just suck. I started a 7 day free trial of FuboTV the Thursday before the opener against Minnesota because I didn't want my stream dying in the middle of the game. Haven't looked back.

Thanks for the tip, might have get it a shot. I've had other apps work fine and it's just the live broadcast on Hulu. Luckily it kicked in and I got to see us top Dook in the second half, but I missed a decent chunk in the process. And they want to charge me $70 for this crap.

Anyways, Go Bucks!
