It is a good thing for any show that needs some time to develop an audience. Not necessarily that Flash Gordon had that much time. If you put Bionic Woman on SciFi and and gave it 20 episodes I think it would pick up. Noted BW was put together by the same people that do BSG so I'll blame it's failure on NBC. Although they did a good job with Chuck and Life this season. I personally wish that they had given BW, Journeyman, and Studio 60 more time to develop.

I wonder if Bionic Woman would have been better if it was on SciFi rather than letting NBC get their hands on it? They are pretty much screwing up everything they try to remake. Michelle Ryan is hot as balls.
Galactica never would have made it on network TV. SciFi even gave Flash Gordon 20 some episodes.

I agree. Galactica wouldn't have been allowed to be as intense if it were on NBC.

It's pretty silly what has become of censoring on TV. TV shows are rated just like movies, yet over the weekend I saw a violent(PGrated) movie that many kids had no business seeing. But, Mom used it as a way to baby sit.
What has happened with peoples ability to just change the channel or
filter what their kids are watching? Too lazy? Let the government do it for them? Take some personal responsibility for your kids! For what you watch.

Regular TV sucks because of just this reason.

Does anyone know how long this show really was? I'm guessing after all the BS Michael love's K.I.T.T. scenes, Ford commercials, and regular commercials, the actual movie was less than an hour long. Ugh.
