-As expected, journalists are standing outside in the storm. One reporter is demonstrating how dangerous it is outside by showing where a piece of wood took out his newsvan window. If it's so dangerous, why are you standing outside?

-Some other journalist is talking about the idiocy of some people who have chosen to come out and play in the middle of the hurricane. Of course, this journalist is standing outside, too. Then the woman in the studio makes some comment about the poor decision-making some people exhibit.

-They keep showing advertisements encouraging people to be 'citizen-journalists'. Given how the real journalists seem to think standing outside in the wind is the way to report, I can only wonder how many people will die trying to get their 15 minutes as a citizen-journalist.

Terrible to see this hurricane hit NO. The Superdome is taking a beating, and there are apparently 10,000s of people inside as it is being used as an emergency shelter.
