They stacked it yesterday against Wisconsin and look where that got them.

Wisconsin was so scared they threw it once in the second half iirc.

To me this is the state of the union up north;
They blow out really bad teams now where they used to struggle with them

They struggle to beat other mediocre teams (4 wins by 7 or less)

They lose by double digits to good teams but that's more cosmetic than anything because their ZOMG! Offense racks up yards in the second half when the game is usually well out of reach.

To be fair the offense can be effective in spurts though and the Bucks need to get over this slow start bullshit. Also don't get away from the run if they make a couple of stops, just pound them. Everyone is listing their biggest fears for the game so here's mine; Tress makes the game plan focus on ball control but due to sporadic misfires (drops, penalties, missed blocks, etc) the long time consuming drives don't generate points. You will have to outscore this team.

All in all, its still the magic 21 number to me plus a little. Score more than 24-28 on offense and OSU will more than likely win, score less than that and they are inviting disaster.

Am I the only one happy that Denard gives tsun some actual hope? After all, Wolverine land's collective soul has to be in it to be crushed. Plus, THE GAME in 2008 was the worst I've ever been to. tsun was so terrible the atmosphere before and during THE GAME lacked what makes my favorite day every year so great. The chance of loosing brings out the tension, anxiety, and passion that can only exist when you feel protetive of your own soul being crushed.

Go Bucks! Beat Blue!

That is not a team that should make taking the 3 points a good decision, Tressel Ball aside. Iowa would not likely have scored. One Buckeye corner slipping in The Game on a receiver cut and it may well be 6 points.

Don't get me wrong, your D is better than most they have seen, but in rivalry games the key is staying in it mentally, not giving the under-skilled team hope, and about not keeping the game close enough for a short field score or pick six to put them ahead with time running out. There is a rivalry game "pucker factor" that will kick in as the favored team starts thinking of the....the....horror - if they lose. That mind set has taken many a good team down.

You need to go score some TDs and get a nice lead - so your guys can unleash Hell without worrying about the odd negative consequence from their aggressiveness.

You are preaching to the choir but it's not true for just this game.

I know I'm a bit unusual in this, but I'm honestly looking forward to seeing the exciting Denard Robinson putting up big offensive numbers against the Buckeyes. Particularly since it will make little difference to the outcome of the game.

Michigan's defense is absolutely dreadful.

Ohio State opens as a 19.5 point favorite. In 2008 they were a 19 point favorite. But then again, in 1969 they were a 17 points favorite. So you never know with this game...but I would love another 42-7 drubbing.

In our last three home games against Michigan, we have averaged 40 points. Never scoring lower than 37 points. And also we've scored at least 36 points in all of our home games this year.

I see no reason that we don't score 40 points. And I think Michigan is going to struggle scoring points in the Shoe. Hell they haven't scored more than 10 in the last three meetings. I know it's a different offense...but it's still RRod. It's still Tressel. And Michigan sucks. I think this was is close at the start of the 2nd quarter...but it's over early in the 3rd and we win pretty big.

Ohio State 51
Michigan 21

even more painful, i'm having hernia surgery the day before so i'm going to be recovering from that while having to watch this dismantling......

You got that right I had double hernia surgery about 30 years ago. I could not breath deep, burp, bend, sit up, cough, hiccup, laugh, [censored], or fart without experiencing excruciating pain. I had the old fashioned surgery; I think now they are doing it laparoscopically. Anyway you have my sympathy.
