Game Thread THE GAME: Ohio State 14, TSUN 3 (final)

So did lil' Bikey not have anything to say in the post-game presser? I haven't read or seen anything...

U-M Senior Running Back Mike Hart

On the offense ... "We didn't think we were going to be this bad off. We made a lot of mistakes out there. Give credit to the (Ohio State) defense. They came up with a great game and had a good scheme against us. The defense did a great job."

On explaining the game ... "When we watch the film everything is going to be right there. We made too many missed assignments, too many dropped balls, missed blocks, bad cuts. Whatever you want to call it, we just didn't put it together as an offense today. When you don't do that, you aren't going to win games."

On injuries ... "I was fine today. I was good enough to play and it definitely wasn't a problem. Chad (Henne) was out there throwing the ball fine so it's definitely not the reason why we lost today."

Straight from mgoblue.com....had me laughing...about time he wasn't over mouthy. :oh:

Our defense did well, but how can Carr let injured players stay in? Hart was obviously a little slow, Henne was a bigger fucking joke than usual, what the hell is that? Mallet actually moved the ball, and they pull him? scUM pretty much wanted to lose this game, just because people are seniors doesn't mean you need to keep them in if they aren't doing well.

Does Chads performance today help him in the draft? Did the scouts see something that would help him?

Did Hart show something to help him get the heisman?

No, both pretty much failed. Henne, at the least, should have been pulled. Sure the freshman probably would have had the same result, but it was obvious Henne was having problems. I am glad we won, our defense came to play, but how many passes were over-thrown, tossed into the ground or behind the receiver? Bucks came to play, scUM made no adjustments, they deserved to lose this game.

what you're saying definitely applies under normal circumstances, but both Henne and Hart came back for another year precisely for this game. it would have been tough for Lllllloyd to deny them.

Well, in Llllloyd's defense -

Mallett wasn't getting it done either.

And, who would they have carry the rock in place of Hart, I mean, seriously, whom?

Few things more gratifying than a humbled asshole. I'd give him some credit here, but he's too fucking far in the hole. Fuck Bike Hart. 0-4 little fella.

I understand Hart not making an excuse of Henne being hurt, but it was obvious from the first throw that Henne did not have the arm today. He was all over the place, missing badly. Still don't know how he didn't get flagged for grounding on that one play in the 1st Q... but, I also don't know how Hartline didn't draw a flag on his 1st Q route on 3rd down before the punt. Not that it much matters now

Anyway, it was clear to me that Henne was not close to 100% Hart had a couple limp offs himself, but I suppose a tip of the cap is in order for him not using it as an excuse.
