Out of context, I'd agree. In context, I see a scUM player trying to fight dirty and paying for it. [censored]ed Sanzo off, from where I was sitting. Kid couldn't beat the block, so he tried to manhandle and got manhandled.

So... it's okay for a player to hold if he's pissed off?

Yes, but only against TSUN. :tongue2:

Seriously... if they want to flag it, that's fine. Just remember if you're going to flag the one ending the war, make sure to flag the one who started it. Otherwise I say let the guys battle it out if you let the first one slide. First one being a much more blatant and dangerous penalty, in my opinion.

Don't know. I've never reffed a game.

Having said that, it was by far one of the worst-called games I've ever watched - outside some of the normal shenanigans that go on in SEC games. For a Big Ten crew, those refs were an absolute disgrace... marquee game of the conference notwithstanding.

But, like I said, I've never called a game, so I'm happy to take a W away from The Game any way I can get it.

Chase Farris

This is a 17-18 year old commit?

If he ordered a beer from me, I wouldn't even think of asking for his ID. Looks 30.

I suppose this is my major beef with the whole situation. It wasn't just one flag that should or shouldn't have been thrown, it was an all around bad showing for the refs. Just a bit of a mood killer for what should have been even more of a celebration in our favor.

It seems as if they were coached beforehand to not let anything slide due to this being The Game and knowing how emotional these kids get. I just feel that it got out of hand and they went overboard with the calls.

But agreed, a win is a win. Especially over scUM! Sorry for taking up so much room in your awesome photo thread, Josh. I'll be moving along now.

shetuck: Cheers and let's get back to the celebration! SEVEN STRAIGHT!

chase farris and steve miller are bad men. It is even more frightening to think what they become in their twenties. Devin Gardner certainly doesn't want to talk about it (who was flying around in warmups, I thought he had a bad back? Or maybe they stopped using him once tate got his head straight and they are trying to pull a fast one hoping to get a medical redshirt )

Josh-
Great work as always!!!

Given how moist Mich1gAAn fans got over Denard's "Heisman pose", it certainly seems that this version should be sent to every scUM fan you know.

Doing it against Notre Ame is one thing- doing it to your rival in The Game is something else altogether.
Thanks, I was so glad he pulled that off before getting to the sideline. I was shooting from the sideline, which is risky with all of the traffic (players, coaches, chain gang, espn microphones, cameramen, the bazillion assistants for ESPN & ball boys) cutting off your angles, but it gives you some great angles like this one.

Brandon Jackson looks like a beast.

I'd love to know what was going through Robinson's mind in this picture.

Maybe what caused his injury?

Obligatory RB can't be stopped by the defense 2010 pic met. (Since we've had one for every year since 2006 that I can recall)

You're overlooking Pittman's game winning score in '05.

We did not have a RB score a TD against UM in '04.
