Game Thread THE GAME, 11/26/16, 12pm ET, ABC

Nice recap of the post game atmosphere

I was in the north end zone but didn't see the guy crying.

I saw or took part in everything else (not the Crown Royal). I'm going to copy and paste for posterity on this site.

Roughly 100 minutes earlier, Michigan receiver Amara Darboh caught a touchdown pass in that same spot to send the game to double overtime. Ten minutes after that, Ohio State H-back Curtis Samuel plowed into the opposite end zone to win the game, 30-27.

After No. 2 Ohio State beat No. 3 Michigan, all hell broke loose. Students stormed the field from both end zones, and the rest of the fans soon followed. On his way to the locker room, Michigan star Jabrill Peppers shoved one of the revelers. Ohio State players got hugs. Marijuana smoke filled the air in the stands. It was a wild scene.

In the end zone where Samuel won the game, one Ohio State fan couldn’t stop sobbing. The tears kept coming, and he hugged a pair of friends. Over the PA system, “Sweet Caroline” blared as thousands sang along. So good! So good! So good!

“I remember that Neil Diamond song,” OSU coach Urban Meyer said in his postgame press conference. “That was great. Weird life, man.”

Moving on the field was nearly impossible. After a while, fans in the middle stopped trying to move and just soaked it all in. They’d just seen an all-timer, and their team had won. Instead of losing to Michigan for the third time since 2001, it’s likely that Ohio State earned itself a playoff berth. Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh dropped to 0-2 against the Buckeyes. Meyer improved to 5-0 in The Game.

Students began to exit the field through the tunnel that connects to the Ohio State locker room. The victory bell rang. Fans sang “I don’t give a damn for the whole state of Michigan,” and then they sang it again. Half an hour later, when quarterback J.T. Barrett stepped behind the podium, that song rang out loud enough to hear from the interview room.

Ohio State fans had every reason to celebrate. So they did.

We all know how the Cavs won the NBA championship this year. LeBron said they had to do it the hardest way possible.

The Cavaliers were at this game.

Am I the only one to put the pieces together? This heart attack of a game was LeBron's fault. It's all clear to me now. Lebron's Shoes? At the 'shoe.
Curtis and MJ tried to warn us!
i feel ya

any of you guys and gals that may be too young to remember the 202 season, it was like that...for about 3 months

EDIT

of course I meant 2002

Thanks to @LostLassie for the edit help
After hearing all about recruiting and the games, every day, and being forced to watch clips on various forums and all sorts of nonsense, I finally tuned in to watch my first game, just to tell my friend I finally checked it out... THE GAME, that year. I nearly shredded a blanket in my anxious death-grip. The NC was the second game I ever watched. I spent the next two or three days reading Bucknuts without coming up for air.

So in my mind, those impending heart attacks are what football IS.
