Game Thread THE GAME, 11/26/16, 12pm ET, ABC

Am I the only one nervous? Like REALLY nervous? Are they playing QB Spit or Cream O'Korn?

What about that whole thing how they spent their entire Bye week watching Ohio State film and prepping for us?

I hate them SO much and I'm doing everything I can to not have a nervous breakdown. The thing that makes me the most nervous?

The way we played last week. Yes, I know they played like crap, too. And, there were extreme conditions. But, ultimately they pulled ahead and we won on a wing and a prayer.

I'm terrified they're going to walk in, Harbutt getting them so fired up, with revenge in their hearts from 2006 and last year.

Plus, I wish we weren't favored and people weren't all picking us to win. I don't want our players thinking it's a forgone conclusion.

I HATE THEM SO FUCKING MUCH...

Also, when do I take the blanket out?

Oh, and to top things off, my STUPID MOTHER IN LAW (who's clueless and not from Ohio) went out and bought TSUN Apples at the grocery store. My husband said he would eat them all by Saturday. But, I thought it'd be best to get opinions from you guys as to do with these malicious things.

Bury them?
Burn them?

He said eating them would be a good idea because he'd be able to shit them out and "eat them for lunch."

Thoughts?

The key to this kind of emotional upheaval is to focus on positive action. In short, what can we do to positively affect the situation? We can focus on being fans of the highest character and best example to others. For example, we can ask ourselves how we can hate *ichigan more and spread that hate to others.

Personally, I got my morning started off right by having a huge bowel movement and naming it "Jim Harbaugh".

Go and do likewise.

I watched the 2006 game last night, and even though I knew the outcome I still found myself on the edge of my seat, irritated when the weasels scored and cheering when we scored.

Probably my favorite memory of The Game was Tressel's first year. I had just gone through 13 years of Coop's 2-10-1, attending every one of those games, and was hopeful for a new era of success against the weasels. I will never forget being in the pig house for that game, especially staying afterwards, singing our alma mater in their house as we celebrated a long overdue win. I literally had tears in my eyes, trying to choke out the words. Hell, I've almost got a tear in my eye now, thinking about it.

God dammit, it's good to be a Buckeye.

I hope you remembered to flush twice....

To me, this is one of the most important plays in OSU football history:

I like knowing how shocked those assholes were in the stands that day...some of them likely thinking that they're still Michigan so they'll just go win it the next year.

I wish I could take their current selves back in time to have a discussion with their 2001 selves about how the last 15 years has gone for them.
