If UCLA could speed up JS the way they did with all the A gap pressure, imagine how much tCun will speed up his clock. Many are speculating that he doesn’t trust the young backs to pick up the blitzes (for good reason). So, hopefully, CJ is 100% for tCun. You give up a lot in the running game, but gain everything in pass pro. He had Klare deep middle all day vs. UCLA, but couldn’t find him.

Michigan players and staff were flummoxed after the game. Despite not scoring as many points as Ohio State, they assumed the athletic directors of Minnesota and not-quite-in-the-Big-Ten-yet-but-will-be-30-some-years-later UCLA would vote to send them to the Rose Bowl anyways. They carry a dumbfounding resentment to this day.
