I don't like the guy who fought for the west after he backstabbed the people on his team, that was fucked up. I was hoping Brent would beat his ass. I think they are all going to be gunning for him know.

I thought it was funning how noone clapped for him not even his teammates and they all clapped for brent.

Dammit man when will Juan fight. I like to watch the little guys fight.

Next week's fight should be good...I've been waiting to see those 2 guys. Personally, from what I've seen, I think the Snake (Sergio I think his name is) is the favorite to win.

I was impressed with Juan for being only 18. I thought he really did well. It was also nice to see the guy from Meeeeechigan get beat.

I've not seen the show but heard it is really good.

I've heard the ratings are terrible though and can't figure it out.

I think the American Public is getting "Reality TV'd" to death.

Juan went home because of "injuries" but the other guys were pissed because he quit. Joey, who was a huge underdog, came out hard and won a unanimous decision over Jimmy. The guys all had to vote for someone to return to replace Juan and thats where it ended...

Thats what sucks about reality tv, there is just so much crap that is thrown out there that a good show like the contender is pushed to the side and lumped with crap like who wants to marry a millionare and stuff like that. I also think where you start to run into problems are some of the sequal seasons. Survivor the first season was good, Apprentice the first season good, the following season not as good, because people have a better idea of what to expect.

Totally agree with you here. He made some comment about still being undefeated and didnt have anything else to prove or some crap like that. Guess what you all have the same time,, I think the kid punked out and is a pussy

and then they showed scenes from next week and showed that pretty boy "baby face" getting smacked around in the ring. i wonder who's coming back.

Anyone interested in the show this year on ESPN?:shake:
Got into it last year, and even though there are just highlights of the actual fights, enjoy some good boxing.
Enjoying it this year as well, although seems like there are a lot more sponsors...gifts, etc.
Thoughts?
