The cocktail party is over

Hmm... Florida... Georgia... yep, red state, red state... Liberals indeed. :p
Somehow I don't think Holbrook and the PC Police are big GOP supporters/rightwingers.....but I could be wrong......it is up to the sensible people in each party to try and control the wackjobs

The deal is-
Us conservatives will criticize Falwell and Co., you liberals try to control the PC types who want to ban mascots and alcohol....

Didn't think my little red state red state thing would generate any traffic... I did a little research and it turns out both UGA and Florida do not gave a liberal arts college. Nope, each has a conservative arts college. Sure, the historical U has a rep of being "liberal" and all, but it seems UGA and Fla. are cutting new ground. In fact, I went through the enrollments of each university, cross referenced to voting cards, and learned, much to my astonishment, that all students at these schools (and staff too) grade out as Righties.

OK.. I'm joking...

Lol...I have a Liberal Arts degree from UGA. And what is even funnier is, as a political consultant, many of my clients are Red. Red and Blue in the south is something that is highly controversial within political circles and was quite a coup by Richard Reed and Carl Rove.

Anyway, back to the fun stuff. The universities are simply distancing themselves from any responsibility.....litigation. They want that squarely on the vendors which is the result of these actions.

The game itself is no more special than UGA v Bama or Auburn or Carolina. However, it is something many of the students enjoy traveling to. You could move it either Athens or Gainsville and eliminate the instituion that it has become and the students would just find another outlet.
