Average SAT score
Someone sent us this e-mail, and we verified it with the NCAA, about the average SAT scores of Division I programs. The purpose of the e-mail was to illustrate that Notre Dame is not raising its academic standards, thereby not making it difficult for the Irish to win.
The average SAT score for incoming freshman at Notre Dame last year was 925. That puts the school 51st, below Purdue (No. 6), Indiana (No. 10), Ohio State (No. 12), Penn State (No. 21), Iowa (No. 27) and Michigan (46th).
The top five in average SAT scores were Stanford, Northwestern, Rice, Duke and Vanderbilt.

Sorry man but when I saw that on the O-Zone, my heart about jumped out of my chest. Then the next few guys were questioning the lack of a link and I started to doubt it. I was so damn curious that I registered at Chicago Tribune just to search their archives...Trust me, my own parade was caught in a downpour:(
