In my lifetime?.... in order

- 98 MSU. One of my earliest Buckeye memories.

- 03 The Game. No explanation needed.

- 05 Texas-ish? I think 05 Penn State might bother me more, IMHO

- 06 Natty. This game STILL hurts. I refused to watch any clips or tape for almost 10 years. Wire to wire #1. Heisman winning QB. Beating two #2 teams - the first being a revenge game against the defending champs. The second being against your arch rival in, what still remains, one of the biggest regular season CFB of all time and the biggest in the history of the series.

Sure, we got our asses kicked start to finish, but that doesn't make it an easier pill to swallow. It was supposed to be the greatest season in Buckeye history.

- 09 USC. Sure we went on to win the Rose Bowl. But it would have been nice to get a W there.

- 2010 Wisky. Kept us from another Natty and likely beating the breaks off Auburn doing it. Getting over the SEC hump and getting the trophy would have been next level.

- 2013 BIG title. Another breath away from a natty.

- 2015 MSU. Playoff shot ruined.

- 2019 Clemson. Yet another natty shot, but the manner the refs took it away was too bitter of a taste.

The Juice game for the turtle trophy where they just continued to run it at us while I ran laps from the TV to the keg was pretty brutal.

I’ll agree with ‘98 Sprarty and Tejas in the Shoe as being the worst though.

I guess all three were bad for different reasons. UofI because we just could not stop them. Sparty because that shouldn’t have been a game on paper. Tejas because it was riiiiiight there. All were frick’n bad though.

For me, it was the 98 Michigan State game. In my senior year at OSU. I remember after the game, myself, Thump, and our other roommate just sitting there in silence staring at the field until an usher actually came up to us and told us we had to leave
