The BP Awards for 2006

I thought there was a "Jan White" Award?
Hmm, again I'm not sure, but I thought I remembered one or at least discussion about including one last year, however, after looking again, I did see something I missed earlier:

The Boston-Carter (best receiver) (includes TE's)
However, I would still put a vote up there for seperating the best receiver and best tight end awards

This isn't as simple as it looks.
One thing I rememberr from last year is that this is a lot tougher than it looks. Top six? Filtering the political from the actual in those award lists, not to mention overcoming the urge to go Buckeye as early and often as possible (though at QB we have a given :)), it isn't a simple thing.
In the end it is your (my) impressions that counted - and so this year I am not even going to go to "the lists" off-site. Instead I will delve right into the top six while holding back the Buckeye early and often urge (except at QB, and LB - and Oh well we'll all have a chance to share later :)).

Still one week left....

At the present time, I have 17 ballots - I had hoped to receive at least 100, so go ahead and vote - your vote may be the "difference maker"!

PS - Because we have so few people voting for kickers and punters, I am giving out extra rep to voters who including those categories on their ballots.

LJB, I need to modify my ballot I submitted earlier. It has come to my attention that Ian Johnson has been illegally crocheting for charity, and I cannot in good conscience vote for him for The Griffin knowing that he is a no good, dirty cheater with such a blatant disregard for NCAA rules. :wink2:

If only his name had been Gordian - he'd have the NCAA tied up in knots :tongue2:

It will likely take him a few days to talley the results.
It will, but I hope to have everything ready by Friday, so that we can upstage the Heisman ceremony. :)

Please don't forget that tomorrow is the last day to submit ballots, and that anyone can vote.

And once again, thanks to everyone who voted!
