If you got the money and can afford shopping trips like this, then just say fuck it. It's going to keep her happy and it will make your life that much easier.

I am sure I will get bashed for this comment too, but what man allows himself to bossed around by a woman. Having to worry about what he says, allowing her to go out and spend a ridiculous amount of money on clothing without asking him first. I am not married, but I can only imagine what would happen if my mother tried pulling this. A lot of men are walking around nowadays with no balls.

I don't know your wife, but here is how I would handle it, depending on if there was anyone else around at the moment.

She asks if this top "Makes her look Frumpy"

You reply, "I don't know what a Frumpy top is, you better take it off"

Then take her to the bedroom and knock the back out that.....

All told 978.67 was spent because I could not lie good enough.. I feel ashamed. To add salt to the wound she has set up a shopping trip with her girlfriend in Dayton next weekend... I am sure that won't be pretty.

So my question is, what defense mechanisms do you guys use... the playing dumb always worked in the past.. but at last it has lost its magic. Ladies, please give insight on how the hell I can avoid this happening again!!!

ok never been divorced but a guy i know pretty well has been 3 times and says that all the time...

I have no advice but I just want to say know what your getting into before you marry her. The girl I am with and have been for 4 years now would never and could not find a way to spend $978.67. Low maintenance my friend. :biggrin: Also if she is gonna blow money like that she better be an unreal type of hot looking lady or I would tell her to get a damn job.

She is really not a high maintenance chick at all, in fact I am more of the random blow a 1,000 on shit then she is... And she makes up a large percentage of the family income so I really can't bitch there either.

Ohh well she needed some new clothes so be it... Just wish she could have spread out the damage a little more....

Ohh well, looks like a trip to Vegas is in order for the weekend she is in Dayton :biggrin:

thats the crazy thing about clothes. a couple of suits...boom 1k. a new topcoat...boom 1k. etc. if justified i see and would have no porblem with it. if shes dropping a k on whims for stuff that is silly then time for a talk.

just think of what nybucks gf has to put up with. the man drops 10k on each and every pair of specially tailored boxers...
