The 2023 Spring Game, Sat. 4/15, 12pm EST, BTN

I'm kind of surprised that McCord had that good of stats. He threw a lot of balls away to avoid a sack. In addition, he had a couple passes nearly picked off. He might of had some significant rushing yards too if he wasn't down when a defender just touched him.

Archie Griffin: 1 carry, 25 yards and a TD.

I think Frye is a good coach, the guys they have do have talent, and they won't play a defensive line this good until at least week 7, maybe week 12, maybe the playoffs.

They don't have to be dominant April 15, they just have to work it out by November 25.
My thoughts as well. The 2014 OL was replacing 4 studs from 2013. Got overwhelmed by VT week 2 but gelled into arguably the best OL in the country by the end of the year.

You don't think here's a chance the opponent's DL may be decent in week 4? The team is ranked in the" way too early rankings" in the top 15....

On the surface, the DB's are breaking on the ball well. Hoping that side of the ball improves after being down for 2+ years.

OL still a question and we'll see. QB play wasn't exactly encouraging. Hope Brown mends and shows something in the summer.

WR and RB room is loaded. Don't be afarid to run the ball a bit more this year.

Go Buckeyes !

Exactly the comparison I had in mind writing that post.

Not sure it will matter though. As it pertains to the last Saturday in November, the chasm between Day and his predecessors is tangible and widening.

Hard to run with a bad OLine. But yes, setting up play action should be the theme this year.
