Read the first post:

So who cares to make a prediction of which 2011 recruit, if any, will be the recruit we wish we would have offered (meaning the recruit did not have an OSU offer, e.g., Walker or DePriest)?

EDIT: Never mind. The smiley didn't show up the first time I read your post...

my smiley went away :(....and im obviously joking....exiting thread as we speak

Ray Ball is a good choice. Here are some of mine:

Chase Hounshell (Lake Catholic; Notre Dame signee) - also offered by Florida, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan State; maybe a bit undersized, but he was the Division II Defensive Player of the Year, and can also play OL.

Justin Olack (Massillon Washington; Toledo signee) - probably not athletic enough to fit Ohio State's template, but the type of kid who might catch 150 passes at Toledo and leave us wondering "what if...?" Selected Toledo despite having offers from Big Ten and Big East programs.

Christian Westerman (Chandler Arizona; Auburn signee) - not sure what the disconnect was between Ohio State and Westerman, but the Buckeyes threw in the towel early in the battle for one of the top OL prospects in the country.

Westerman is a great choice. So is Kiaro Holts. Those two could have been gotten IMO. If we are talking strictly Ohio then I will have to go with Roger Williamson, Chase Hounshell, Ryan Kelly, Eilar Hardy and Donovan Clark.

I know he was mentioned by the op as an option with Walker,
but DePriest is one who I think will blow up at Bama.
Will we be great without him? Absolutely!
However. . .
Silver Bullets would invoke shock and awe levels of invincibility with De Priest,
added to the anchors of the Buckeye D--the Grant cousins, Cash, Miller, Hayes, Farris, Bennett, Hale, Price, Shazier, et. al.

Roger Williamson (Sp?) and Akiese Teague. I'm partial towards playmakers and these guys looked like they could potentially make a big impact on the collegiate level. Good luck to both of them! I think that most other years they would have had offers from The.
