Granny finds grenade in groceries

NAPLES, Italy (Reuters) - A 74-year-old Italian grandmother who bought a sack of potatoes at the her local market found a live grenade among the spuds.

amusing that she actually bought the thing as produce. but not surprising in the least that live ordinance is still being churned up in europe.

but ive always heard that simple things like grociery shopping in europe is considered a real blast. though anytime your buying perishable goods, not selecting your produce based upon proper freshness could end up very messy sooner or later.

What's amazing, too, is that this ordnance traversed rambling, vibrating mechanized equipment to get to the shop without exploding.
