"Thank You", all you Veterans Out there

We appreciate your service this Veterans Day. I need to get home and change, as my Troop is going to help meet, greet, and serve Veterans at the local Applebees, as they will be providing a free dinner today.

On a personal note, I am proud of my dad, a veteran of WWII. He was in the horse cavalry in the late 1930s, and he eventually became a tank commander.

I am posting a part of his battlefield commission to Lieutenant and a pic of his tank, "Blondie".

If not for the efforts of veterans, many of whom are no longer with us, we wouldn't enjoy the freedoms we do today. That includes the freedom to come to BP and say what we think of our politicians, or anything else, without fear of reprisal from an oppressive government.

For that, I say thank you!






I only hope "we the people" aren't stupid enough to vote it all away.

Thank you veterans for providing the greatest thing in the world, freedom. I can't wait to see my brother in law in a month, home from Somalia taking down the pirates. Can't wait to see you man.
