Texas Tech Running Up the Score....

tedginn05

Legend
they were talking about college football and then they mentioned Texas Tech's game this weekend against Indiana State, apparently TTU head coach said he plans to hang 100 on Indiana State, i really don't like when a team runs a score up like that or even gets the idea of doing it

I heard something to that effect on the radio, but it was a player who said he wanted to score 100 pts (I think it was the QB). the coach in turn said that he isnt going to tell his players to not score. Not that the coach was the one trying to get his players to score 100 or setting that goal for them.

Well I attributed the XP to Huston....it's not like I forgot it.

Well, let's think about this one. If 6 come from Huston, but 1 is an extra point, then he needs to pick up 5 more points. Very interesting.... Obviously, if I've learned ANYTHING in my 27 years of watching football, I've learned that the ground can't cause a fumble and a safety/FG is the only way to score 5 points.

So, my question to you is, HOW IN THE HELL IS HUSTON GOING TO GET A SAFETY!?!?!

Here's my thought: I think after Huston kicks off following his field goal, the Iowa returner catches it at the one yard line, runs backward, and dances around in the end zone. Huston runs down field and makes the tackle in the end zone all by himself. Then he gets up a yells "SEE!?!?! THAT'S NOT SO FUCKING HARD!!! WHY DIDN'T YOU GUYS JUST DO THAT IN THE STUPID TEXAS GAME?????"

Huston can get a safety on an extra point. If there is a kick attempt and the ball is fumbled, a defensive player recovers the ball, and runs around, ending up in the endzone, and gets tackled by Huston in the endzone, then that would be considered a safety. It's really very simple.
